Why not learn the art of pattern drafting and make a block tailored exactly to your measurements?

You must have made a couple of garments using a pattern on your own before attending this class.If not then try the Ultimate beginners day class first

Over this 5 session  course you will measure yourself and drape a personalised bodice and skirt pattern block, tailored specifically to you body.

Using your pattern block you can begin to draft your own patterns in any style you like. It’s also a great tool for making adjustments to commercial patterns too
In this class you will learn:
  • How to take your own accurate body measurements 
  • Draft a bodice and skirt block based on your own unique measurements
  • Make a muslin or toile (a mock-up version of your pattern)
  • Simple pattern adjustments and manipulations

Note: You will not make any actual clothes in this class just a toile /muslin and the block pattern. You must have some experience sewing garments before taking this class.

Cost: £195 (max number of 5 students per session)
Time: 6.30 pm – 9.30 pm on 5 consecutive Monday  evenings. Or as 2 day weekend bootcamp Arrive on time as session starts promptly!
Materials required:All tools, equipment and  materials provided.
Refreshments: Unlimited tea, coffee and snacks provided.

I just wanted to let you know how brilliant this class was last Sunday, I felt like I'd learnt a huge amount and came away so much more confident in my sewing, as well as being able to take the block with me. I'm just sorry I could only do the first week and not the second!
