Why Drape Collars?

Since draping allows you to see your pattern taking shape immediately, it’s the perfect way to create collars and instantly see how they will look. Draping works really well for  fluid fabrics and creating more 3 d shapes like a shawl collar, or even collar shapes that have lots of pleats or folding. It’s also a great way to make additional patterns to add to the ones you already have, reducing the need to have to buy more and more patterns just to get small design changes.
