Excited to announce my podcasting debut!

Woo Hoo!

I’m so thrilled to announce that my podcasting debut is now live over on Sew Organised style.

It’s all about how my costume career led me to write my 2nd book, Clone your Clothes, plus there are loads of practical tips in the interview too.

Excited to announce my podcasting debut!

Introducing the Sew Organised Style podcast

Is this podcast new to you? It may well be one you’ve not come across, so here’s a little about the podcast and it’s host

Sew organised style is the first sewing podcast launched in Australia and New Zealand! It’s creator is Maria Theoharous, known on social media and on her blog as velosews.

Maria’s sewing journey began with a simple belief – ‘I can make that’. This belief wasn’t just limited to fabric and patterns, but extended to ideas and connections within the sewing community.

With over 2.4 million downloads, Sew Organised Style has an extensive listener reach in the 45+ demographic.

Maria  has produced and edited over 400 interviews from the diverse sewing community. This is not your ordinary sewing podcast!

As the host, producer, video and sound engineer, Maria crafts each episode with the same care as her sewing projects, stitching together a tapestry of voices that inspire and unite.

Maria’s passion for making, combined with her ever curious mind about how things are made led her to create Australia and New Zealand’s first sewing podcast, giving a voice to her fellow sewists.

I met Maria in 2015 on a family visit to Australia, when Maria organised a meet up event in Sydney so i could meet the Sydney sewing community. It was a wonderful evening, where I made several new sewing friends, Maria included. We have kept in touch and met up whenever we have had an opportunity.

I’m so thrilled that Maria invited me onto her podcast to talk about Clone your clothes, and I love how her journey across our 10 year friendship has grown from sewing blogger to podcast host, engineer and Sew over 50 advocate!

Here’s to another decade of friendship…
